Hello my dear friends,

I guess some of you have had a look at my new artwork "Darkeing sky - A war chronicle" which consist of a listing of all wars fought in the past 100 years.

Now I´ve a big, big request!
Please, after dealing with the topic of war for such a long time, I´d really love some peace now.

So I´d like YOU to send me a note with the happiest, most peaceful moment in your life!
I´ll try to make an artwork out of all the little stories.
I´d be sooo soo pleased if you just wrote me a tiny sentence.
Thank you.
And if you want you can of course ask other people (your sister your, Mom, your Dad, your grandparents or your friends) and send me their story.
I´d just love to get as much as possible to create a really peaceful piece of art.

:hug:s to all of you
Let´s stay peaceful

Felix

Update 15.08.2008

After only one day, we´ve already collected 22 peaceful moments!
Yeh I say "We have" because this is going to be our artwork!
They really moved me, amused me or simply made me think a lot.
So thank you to those who show such great reliance and presented me one of their happiest moments. I´m going to answer all of your messages as soon as possible. Thank you my dear friends.
It made me really happy to even receive stories of people that actually haden´t seen any of my art yet.
Thank you.

I hope there are many more yet to come. :)

Wow - what a fabulous idea! :aww:

I've yet to look through all the War Chronicles info, but...:( that's a tough topic, so I'll wait until I'm feeling a bit stronger.

For starters, though, I know of a wonderful website with "happy news"--all good things and true stories :pointr: "Good News Network."

I'm sorry it's not personal, but I'll think about that for a time, too, and write again.

And as for your ability to deal with the toughest issues and still show an optimism emote after doing so, "You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din."

That is a fantastic idea, though it will be a bit difficult to think of the happiest moment of ones life because I think there are so many little moments that makes you want to soar. I believe your artworks from this request will be magnificent especially when it is based on real tales. I'll be thinking of my own story and I can't wait to see others.
Hands up to you for thinking of such an idea! :worship:

(: That sounds great. I can TRY to contribute a bit. Can't wait to see all your drawings/paintings!

The most peaceful I can think of is when I went outside and decided to just lay in the grass in my backyard for about five minutes and look at the sky one day. It was just really nice and carefree.

I don't know if this is the most happiest moment in my life. But I remember it with a smile.
I was nine years old and me and my father was visiting the little rabbit baby I was going to get some weeks later.
He, the rabbit, was so cute and just about 7-8 cm long. In his face he had like a white moustache and white eyebrows. And his ears was the smallest i have ever seen.
We sat in the grass under a big tree and the little rabbit could jump around without a leash. I was so happy to see him and in that moment I knew he was going to be mine! :)

Da fragst du aber ganz schön intimen Input ab :)
Soll's Englisch sein? Ich werd mal drüber nachdenken und dir vielleicht was schicken.

I can't send you a note for whatever reason so I'll have to post it here :P

I was browsing around and I stumbled upon your profile...Here's mine: I've moved around alot, I actually prefer appartments to houses (except huge antique ones)before my last move (to an actual house) I lived in a residential area (I guess that's the correct term) I used to walk around for hours until one day I found an old abandoned building, I snook in (there was a high wooden fence) and found out there was actually two buildings joined by cement stairs. Needless to say I ventured in and loved what I found.
Doves flying around, peace and quiet, beautiful view, loneliness...I went all the way up looking into each room. The sun was dying and the sky was slowly being tainted with its blood. Everything glowed . I reached the top of the first building (one floor smaller than the other) and then went onto the next one, a bit closer to the sky. I sat there, feet dangling from the ledge, and this incredible quietness broken only by doves flapping their wings. I fell asleep right there on the cement...woke up with the moon's soft glow to find an amazing star covered sky...Never felt that kind of peace before. I was absolutely beautiful...and true :)
