Blues for the vomiting rhino


It seems like this image followed me through all kinds of expression.
The "Blues for the vomiting rhino" is a dream, I once had, a poem and an instrumental song for acoustic guitar in open g that I wrote, a black-and-white self-portrait photography [link] and of course this painting that I started about a month ago. It took me so lang due to my desease affecting hands and arms. Anyway, here it is : )
(Unfortunatelly the poem is in german and quite impossible to translate.)

The Shading is outstanding and the black border really holds it all together. I also like the fragmentations of the horns instead of the traditional rhino horn. Never seen a rhino puke either. :P

Sehr schön gemacht, die details sind überzeugend und die technik muss man garnicht erst kommerntieren, aber irgendwie erinnern mich die NashornHornbruchstücke and Viagrapillen :D

Very nice. There's something tribal about it, especially the shapes in the background remind me of those aboriginal drawings. Which is odd, because there are no rhinos in Australia.
